Purely for my own entertainment (and anybody else who likes this sort of thing), I'm listening to every single release to ever reach the UK top 40 in each year since the charts began and choosing what I consider to be the best 40. To make it worth checking out, I've written some commentary on each track and included a YouTube playlist and a Spotify playlist so you can play along at home - or, just go in for a blast of nostalgia from whatever year was your favourite.
